compassion for humanity initiative

At CalDocFest, the San Joaquin Film Society launches the Compassion for Humanity Initiative, an on-going educational campaign to advance, promote and support social consciousness, social justice, activism and humanity through film. Now, more than ever: Filmmakers, near and far, are using film to raise awareness of various causes, to educate the public, to inspire the present and future generations, to influence opinions, and to advocate for humanity. Through this program, the Film Society highlights select films that fits with the vision of the initiative.
