Most films of California Documentary Festival (CalDocFest) are very new works and have not been officially rated by the Motion Pictures Association of America (MPAA). For MPAA film ratings information, click here. Parental discretion is advised.
There are no films in CalDocFest that express unnecessary horror nor profanity and there are no films in CalDocFest that would incur a rating similar to the MPAA's NC-17.
Most films of CalDocFest are appropriate for the general public.
