Forum on Mexican Cinema with Dr. Misha MacLaird

Latino Cinema Day will open with a special forum on Mexican cinema, presented by Dr. Misha MacLaird, an independent film scholar and curator from Oakland, California.

Dr. MacLaird will give an overview of new trends, markets, and policies in Mexico's film industry over the past 15 years, from blockbuster success stories to censorship scandals.
