SYNOPSIS
In despair of finding a worthy opponent, Wolfgang von Kellermann, the German World War I ace known as Der Ostwind, is attacked by a seemingly invulnerable American. As Kellermann becomes increasingly obsessed with seeing his deadly opponent's face, he finds himself in the duel of his life and discovers at what price he will hold to his honor.

DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHY

Kohl Glass was born and raised in Mesa AZ, except for a ten year stint in Colorado (age 3 to 13). He served a two year LDS mission in Okinawa Japan, graduated from Mesa Community College, and studied filmmaking at Brigham Young University. While at BYU, he made the short film The Promethean, which won Best Student Short at the Cinequest Film Festival and 1st place at the 3rd Annual LDS Film Festival. Kohl also directed an adaptation of The Fisherman and His Wife for KBYU and BYUTV. In 2007 Kohl's short film Der Ostwind was the first BYU student film to ever play at the Sundance Film Festival. Der Ostwind went on to play in more that thirty film festivals and win a number of awards including the BOB Award and Best Student Short at the Crested Butte Reel Fest, Best Action/Adventure Short at the Comic-Con International's Independent Film Festival, and 1st place at the 7th Annual LDS Film Festival. Kohl has written a number of screenplays, on of which he co-wrote The Great Hellpike of Steelwell Pond was optioned by Greasy Entertainment. He also won 1st place in the feature length script competition at the 4th Annual LDS Film Festival with The Strawberries of Eldritch. Kohl is an Eagle Scout and lives with his wife in Mesa AZ.
