SYNOPSIS

The story of Luke -- just your average, everyday nosy neighbour -- and his newly
acquired pet, an Inquisitive Snail. When the Inquisitive Snail is dispatched by Luke to
spy on the inhabitants of a small town, the Snail soon discovers that all is not what it
seems beyond the well-manicured lawns of quaint suburbia. But other people’s secrets
can be absolutely delicious and the Inquisitive Snail soon gets his fill...only to discover
that a shell full of secrets can be a heavy load indeed.

Flemish Beauty is yet another Toronto collective. An ever-expanding lot of
filmmakers, writers, technicians, actors, animators, sculptors, painters, photographers,
musicians, and circus performers with divergent interests but common goals. A rag-
tag crew who defy conventional filmmaking wisdom and embrace the chaos of
decentralized decision-making.

Flemish Beauty is also a pear.
